{"id":3195,"date":"2013-12-06T12:10:56","date_gmt":"2013-12-06T18:10:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/52.15.223.162\/?p=3195"},"modified":"2013-12-06T12:18:31","modified_gmt":"2013-12-06T18:18:31","slug":"toys-for-tots-cancelled","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/highskywing.org\/?p=3195","title":{"rendered":"Toys For Tots Cancelled"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Oh, the weather outside is frightful&#8230;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, in the interest of safety, we will have to cancel this year&#8217;s Toys For Tots\/ Pearl Harbor Rememberance Day event. \u00a0An attempt to reschedule for next weekend has proved to be logistically difficult due to the number of rentals and other campus events scheduled next Saturday. \u00a0If you have a toy to donate you can either take it to the AAHM museum this week or bring them to the HSW Wing meeting on Tuesday, December 10th and we will see that they get to Toy For Tots organizers. \u00a0For those who want to brave the elements tomorrow and commemorate Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, the Museum will hold its Road to Pearl Harbor museum talk tomorrow if there is any interest. \u00a0(Please call ahead to the Museum to determine if they will be open.) \u00a0Thank you to everyone who helped to organize this event, maybe mother nature will be more kind next year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oh, the weather outside is frightful&#8230;.
