{"id":4843,"date":"2018-05-14T16:02:16","date_gmt":"2018-05-14T21:02:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/52.15.223.162\/?p=4843"},"modified":"2018-05-14T16:06:03","modified_gmt":"2018-05-14T21:06:03","slug":"carver-center-2nd-graders-visit-the-midland-army-air-field-museum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/highskywing.org\/?p=4843","title":{"rendered":"Carver Center 2nd Graders visit the Midland Army Air Field Museum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The museum was fortunate to have 108 second graders, teachers and parents visit today during their spring field trip. \u00a0After an introduction to the museum, the students were broken down into six groups and escorted by docents around the museum. The tour pattern, devised by <strong>H.A. Tuck\u00a0<\/strong>for previous group tours, was once again the key to an enjoyable visit. \u00a0The kids were bright, well-behaved and inquisitive, and we would welcome them back anytime.<\/p>\n<p>After the tour they enjoyed a picnic lunch in the outdoor chapel and then back on the bus for their next stop.<\/p>\n<p>Many thanks to the HSW members who helped out today: <strong>Steve Bolin, Tresa Bolin, Ralph Gillette, Donnie Haeffner, Lyle Thornton, H.A.
