Memorial Day A Big Success

The crowd was large, the food lines were long and the service was great! Thanks to all who worked hard preparing the food and getting everybody served!  Word has it that this event was more profitable than three days of Cantina at Airsho!

Hondo FlyIn 2013

The annual Hondo flyin and Fredericksburg trip was this past weekend and several of the HSW members and spouses attended in full force.  Fun was had by all:  Col. Coombes’ was showing off SNJ24 with it’s new paint/polish job at the Hondo show, Randy received his first T28 experience all while the laddies shopped and relaxed in town.   A total of 5 HSW wing and member owned airplanes attended and below are a few pictures of our event.

Thanks to all the HSW Members for making trips like this possible.

Wing Meeting May 23rd

CEO Steve Brown will be explaining the General Staff proposal to move HQ out of Midland and how this will impact the High Sky Wing.  It is very important that we all attend so that everyone is clear on exactly what may be happening, and what we as a wing need to do to prepare.

If you have not seen the press release that was issued on May 13th, it is included in the May issue of The Flyer, which was mailed, and uploaded to the web page, on Saturday, May 18th.

The wing will be providing the meal that evening, as another incentive to encourage your attendance.
