Mustang Stampede A Success

The second annual Mustang Stampede, presented by Rogers Ford and the CAF Airpower Museum, was a big success, despite the fact that there were no P-51’s on site.  Boo Man Choo was out of town for maintenance and the scheduled P-51 developed engine trouble and couldn’t make the trip from Addison.  Some attendees were disappointed, but enjoyed the show, nevertheless.

A museum representative stated that there were “over 500” paid museum admissions in addition to those who paid to have their cars shown and/or judged.  There were about thirty more cars registered this year than last, perhaps because the show was opened to all types of show cars this year whereas last year it was strictly Mustangs and some specialty Fords.  Thanks again to Ray Hofman for providing some of his exotic cars for display.
